Invention education challenges the workforce of tomorrow to unlock real-world skills for identifying problems, sharing solutions and implementing ideas.
Our goal is to have every child in every school become an inventor/entrepreneur once, better twice, and instill problem-solving, critical-thinking, and creativity skills for life. Read more about our goals.
About The STEMIE Coalition
The STEMIE Coalition is an umbrella organization that “rolls up” efforts of concurrently operating K-12 youth invention and entrepreneurship programs across the U.S. and globally. The most public and unique facet of The STEMIE Coalition is the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurship Expo (NICEE). We are now part of The Henry Ford. The Value of Invention Education
Invention Education builds upon the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education efforts already in place in our schools, and teaches students to combine those skills with creative, out-of-the-box thinking to create solutions to real-world problems. About our Curriculum
The STEMIE Coalition’s K-12 Invention Convention Curriculum presented by Stanley Black & Decker is a FREE, project-based learning online curriculum that was launched in June 2018. STEMIE’s curriculum and programs will provide a fertile training ground for the nation’s future innovators and entrepreneurs. Take a look at our curriculum.
